Despite the views that all rap artists are gang members or drug dealers. There are young men from an ordinary lifestyle trying to shine.
The young men that are featured here were little boys in the industry that have amid the struggles grown up to be men.
LoeKee
The St. Louis native artist LoeKee now residing in Phoenix, AZ states that he has had a passion for music since as long as he can remember.
The passion evolved throughout his childhood he states. Singing and Rapping to music that moved him in a certain way until he ran into a child hood friend that gave it a different meaning.
In LoeKee’s freshman year of high school, he had a friend that introduced him to FL Studio Music Production Program. From there it was literally a rap, at that instance, the craft became a part of his everyday life.
Incorporating music into his life was a no-brainer so that is what he did most of the time.
It became therapeutic in assisting him through depression as well as allowing him to learn how to exists in the moment while he is producing or writing.
It appears to him that there is never enough time in the day so it is easy to loose track of it.
He has spent years honing in on his skills with being more consistent in the last couple of years. His goal is to inspire others to be great and pursue their passion to no end.
